The art of attracting money must be the modern version of alchemy. A quick tour around the internet will reveal endless "blueprints" - each claiming that they have the magic formula for magnetizing money into your bank account.
For all I know, they may all be right. It would certainly take more than one lifetime to try them all!
What virtually all of these attracting money ideas have in common, however, is that they rely on technique. Do this, do that and money will pour into your life. Some of them even describe themselves as a "paint by numbers" formula to convince you just how easy it is to get rich using their particular blueprint. This is very interesting, because the law of attraction isn't something you do - it's something you are.
It is probably possible to teach a computer the principles of the construction of Elizabethan English and even the elements of plotting, but no computer is ever going to produce a Shakespeare play because it would be nothing but technique. I'm quite sure that with a little application I could understand how to combine colours and even how to use an artist's tools, but I'd never produce a Van Gogh because I can't paint for toffee. In fact, even if I could, only Van Gogh could produce a Van Gogh because only he was, well, Van Gogh!
The point I am trying to make here is this: if you want to attract money, first you need to be a money attractor. The law of attraction states, "That which is like unto itself is drawn." Therefore, if you feel mediocre and dowdy, you're not much of a "product" for people to spend their money on!
Attracting money is a state of mind, not a question of finding the best money attracting blueprint.
I began this article with the phrase, "the art of attracting money" and there was deliberate intent behind that. Attracting money is, in my view, an art. But don't despair. If you are not a brilliant salesperson, no matter, because only brilliant salespeople will attract money by selling well. That simply means that selling is not your art.
Elvis Presley was a great singer and performing artiste, but I haven't heard that he was a great marketer or salesperson. He had other people who did that for him. I doubt if Paul McCartney ever considered himself a salesman. Most people's talents do not include selling.
To attract money you must attract buyers, obviously. And what are they attracted by? You! They are attracted by you being yourself. The better you are at being you, the more attractive you will be and the more money you will attract. Some people make people laugh. Some people make others feel cared for and loved. Some people are good at playing with children. Others love baking cakes. Some write songs and others sing them.
The world needs your uniqueness. The key to attracting money is to believe in your worth as your unique and precious self. Once you have done that, follow the
blueprint that feels best - that is excites you the most.
Or better still, create your own. You will find it will arise naturally out of you just being totally you and loving that process.
Then let yourself discover how easily you begin attracting money.
